If you decide to proceed, the 3D representation will also help the dentist determine precisely where to place the implants. Dr. Rizk will place the implant in your jaw, then give it time (typically a few weeks) to heal and fuse with your natural jawbone. Next, he will put an abutment or connector on top of the implant, and finally, attach the new tooth.
